Everett Lawson 24 laborer odd jobs
Belva Lawson 21 married 5 years 3 children 2 living
Hilbert 4 and Laura 9 months
all born WV as were both parents

The next census record I can locate is

1930 4211 James, Louisville, Jefferson Co. KY
Everett Lawson 44 cable splicer telephone
Belvia Lawson 41 married aged 24
Pollyanna 10
all born WV as were both parents
(there is a marriage for the above 25 December 1904 at Charleston)

I am unable to locate Everett in 1900 or 1920 at this stage and wonder if you have any details please.

Hilbert appears as Ellsworth H Lawson in the following

1930 653 North 29th Street, Louisville, Jefferson Co. KY
Ellsworth H Lawson 24 cable splicer telephone WV WV WV
Lela R Lawson 24 married aged 21 IN IN IN
Everett E 3 KY WV IN
Eugene J 1 yr 2 months KY WV IN

1940 2708 Duncan Street, Louisville, Jefferson Co. KY
Ellsworth H Lawson 34 patrolman city police WV
Theresa E Lawson 29 seamstress KY
Ellsworth G 13, Eugene 11 and Evelyn 7 WV

I cannot link Everett c. 1886 to Levi Lawson at this stage albeit a couple of public trees on Ancestry do show Everett to be the son of a Levi Cokel (note spelling) Lawson but neither show any corroborative evidence. These also show Levi was the son of a James Lawson and Mary Newland and the following census may be connected.

1870 Graham, Mason Co. WV
James Lawson 65 farmer
Mary Lawson 67
Alexander 16 and Levi 14
all born VA

The 1900 census shows a Levi C Lawson b. June 1855 day laborer WV PA PA along with son Charles M Lawson Sept. 1888 in Cooper, Mason Co. WV but there is no sign of Levi which would have given some evidence to connect.
